INDIANAPOLIS – Public input is needed to help determine stop placement, lane configuration, and downtown routing for Indianapolis’ second rapid transit line – the Purple Line.
The Purple Line will provide frequent transit service between Downtown Indianapolis and Lawrence, and is one component of the larger Marion County Transit Plan, which proposes significant improvements system-wide. This bus rapid transit service is a core operational element of an efficient and connected grid of routes.
Beginning mid-July, IndyGo will host several open houses to solicit public feedback on the next capital project of the Transit Plan. IndyGo staff and consultants will be available to answer questions during open houses after offering a brief presentation at the start of each session.
Those interested but unable to attend scheduled public meeting are encouraged to take a survey at www.indygopurple.com or submit comments to Customer Service (317.635.3344) or online via comment form.
