INDIANAPOLIS – IndyGo riders have the opportunity to share feedback regarding the city’s transit service. The Indianapolis Metropolitan Planning Organization (IMPO), in cooperation with IndyGo, is employing a consultant to conduct passenger surveys starting in September 2022 on IndyGo bus routes. The survey results will be used to inform transit planning for Indianapolis.

During the survey period, passengers will be selected at random to participate in a short five-minute interview during their ride. Surveyors will be carrying tablet computers and wearing an easily identifiable uniform with a badge. Responses will be fully anonymous and cannot be linked back to the rider. IMPO and IndyGo will use the information collected solely to analyze ridership patterns and to plan transit service improvements.

Participants will have the option to provide contact information that will enter them into a drawing for a free 31-day IndyGo bus pass.
