Updated Wednesday, Sept. 18
Bays D and C are now closed at the Carson Transit Center, and Bay E was recently reopened. Route 39 will now be serviced by Bay E. The closures listed below are still in effect and will continue for up to two weeks, along with the new closure at Bay C. Due to the closure restricting access to the front of the building, riders must access the CTC lobby from the west side doors.

INDIANAPOLIS — IndyGo recently began construction of the new inductive charging station at the Carson Transit Center (CTC). This construction is instrumental as the agency prepares to launch the Purple Line bus rapid transit (BRT) route this fall. The infrastructure will charge the Purple Line’s battery electric buses and further contribute to IndyGo’s commitment to reduce harmful emissions into the air.
Bays D and E are currently closed through early September. As a result, the following bay assignment changes are now in effect:
- 10W – Bay K
- 10E – Bay N
- 18 – Bay J
- 24 – Bay J
- 28 – Bay B
This is the first of several rolling bay closures as the agency makes this important upgrade for the Purple Line. Learn more about the BRT project here.
