INDIANAPOLIS - IndyGo today announced an update to its text messaging service, which riders can use to determine the next time an IndyGo bus will arrive to their stop. The updated service will provide improved real-time arrival information.
To use the service, riders need to text their five-digit stop ID number to 1-463-208-4344. Stop ID numbers are posted on all IndyGo bus stop signs. IndyGo suggests that riders save the phone number to their contacts for their convenience. The service is also available by calling IndyGo’s Customer Service, selecting the first menu option, and inputting the stop ID number.
IndyGo also reminds riders of other trip planning and service alert tools available to make riding the bus even easier.
IndyGo’s MyStop Mobile app provides real-time bus tracking information, as well as service alerts directly from IndyGo. Riders can also utilize Google Maps and the Transit App for trip planning and real-time arrival information.
IndyGo encourages riders to utilize these tools to plan their trip, find their nearest stop, and track their bus in real time. Riders with questions or who need assistance are encouraged to call IndyGo’s Customer Service at 317-635-3344.
