INDIANAPOLIS — IndyGo is partnering with the Marion County Public Health Department, Indianapolis Public Libraries and Light of the World Christian Church to present a COVID-19 booster shot pop-up event on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Monday, Jan. 16, from 9 a.m. – noon.
The event will take place at two locations:
- Julia M. Carson Transit Center
201 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN 46204
(Accessible by most IndyGo routes.) - Garfield Branch Library (Mobile Units On-Site)
2502 Shelby St., Indianapolis, IN 46203
(Accessible by IndyGo’s Red Line, within walking distance of the Garfield Park Station.)
Attendees (ages 12 and up) who get their booster shot will receive an incentive as a reward for protecting their health and the health of others as COVID-19 numbers continue to rise.
Additionally, IndyGo reminds riders all fixed route service will operate on a Saturday schedule in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Jan. 16. IndyGo Access service will operate on a regular schedule. The Customer Care Center will be open from 7 a.m.- 4 p.m., and the Carson Transit Center, including the Care Center Desk, will be open from 9 a.m.- noon.
